X2 - X-Men United

I’m really starting to like this site. I mean I love looking at the stuff on the site, but for myself it's great! I have a website; unfortunately it hasn’t been updated for at least 4 years. I’m not very computer savvy, I can surf the web, scan in pictures and barely use photoshop, anything else a monkey could probably do better, so I had my friend put the site together for me. Because of this I need him to update it for me. Needless to say he’s been busy and hasn’t been able to do it. Now with deviantART I can put stuff up myself as easy as 1-2-3. Like this piece. I actually drew it to be used at the premier of X2. A friend of mine was working at a theatre and was trying to make a big event of it for the kids. He had comics to hand out and was going to have a coloring contest for prizes. He had me draw this piece for the contest for the kids to color. At the last minute his manager pulled the plug on the whole thing and I never did anything with this piece. So here it is 2 years later and I have somewhere to display it. This is one of my favorite pieces. I think I really nailed Hugh Jackman, Alan Cumming and Ian McKellen. Everyone else came out ok. I decided to ink it before posting it. Maybe I’ll color it at some point as well.
